This quiz takes many of the basic and a few more puzzling rules out and onto the L’Ancresse Links, so localising it for all playing members. Whilst the quiz is almost 60 questions deep, they are all multiple choice. The quiz is purposely long to justify the great prize on offer and to get your golf rules knowledge in a more solid place. If you go on gut instinct or great knowledge, you may only need 10 minutes. Some may need or want 30 minutes or much longer. No time limit has been set. Unfortunately there is no option to save and return to the quiz so should you want to pause and return at a later time you may want to keep the browser window open. That said, your entry will not count until you hit submit so you can go back to the link and repeat the answers as often as needed. After you have submitted your answers, you can review your entry to see how you have done. Many of the questions will provide feedback to explain why your answer is right or wrong. To save your answers however, you will need a Microsoft account or create one. The quiz is open to all Playing and Social members of the L’Ancresse Golf Club. One entry per member. Others are welcome to take part but will not be eligible to win the prize. The closing date is April 9th, so there is plenty of time to get your golfing thinking caps on, submit your answers and don’t forget the chance to win £400 in golfing goods. Good luck. A quizz-tas-tic and fun night at L'Ancresse Golf Club was had by members and guests for the Charity Quiz Night, held last Saturday (1st March) raising over £800 for the Captain's chosen Charity, Les Bourgs Hospice. More social evenings are planned with the next event being a Euchre Drive now scheduled for Friday 11th April.

"I'd like to thank everyone for their support by coming to my drive-in, given the bad weather. Over 100 members turned out and with other friends and family, we were able to raise £925 for Les Bourgs Hospice." I am very much looking forward to my year as Captain and the continuing support of our members on the golf course in team matches and for your ongoing generous support for my chosen charity.
